RULE 5. FEES IN CIVIL CASES
A party who is not excused by statute or these rules from paying costs must pay at the time an item is presented for filing whatever fees are required by statute or Supreme Court order. The appellate court may enforce this rule by any order that is just.
Notes and Comments
Comment to 1997 change: This is former Rule 13. The rule is
simplified. The fees an appellate court may charge in a civil
case are now specified by Supreme Court order.
