I thought the point of the web page was to reduce the number of calls to the clerk's office, to save the courts money. It will probably take some time before enough people know about it and use it for that to happen, but the court should not be charging for information it now has to give out over the telephone. Especially with the Dallas court, things take so long that I have to keep calling on multiple cases to make sure there hasn't been an opinion that got lost in the mail or routed to the wrong person. Being able to check that information on line would be very helpful to me and to the court.
