For very recent
opinions, you may receive the following message?
Sorry, no documents were found which match your query.
The "Recent Opinions" information is
compiled and made available from existing Case Management databases as a public service by
the Webmaster and the Texas Fifth Court of Appeals. However, since the databases may be
updated by the clerk's office during the process, opinions listed as "Recent
Opinions" may return "Sorry, no documents were found which match your
query" until they are actually uploaded into our full-text searchable format (Please
see Recent
opinions may be in the "Searchable Database" before they appear on the
"Recent Opinions" list!). Please understand that it is our "goal"
that opinions be available within 24 hours of release but that sometimes circumstances
delay our best efforts.
Recent
opinions may be in the "Searchable Database" before they appear on the
"Recent Opinions" list.
The opinions sent to the Web
Server are transmitted simultaneously with those destined for the publishers. They appear
on the "Recent Opinions" list when they are input into the case management
database by the Clerk's Office. In some instances, (when opinions are transmitted but not
yet posted to the database) the recent opinions will be in the "Searchable
Database" before they appear on the "Recent Opinions" list.
Do not hesitate to email: thewebmaster @ courtstuff.com or: theclerk @ 5thcoa.courts.state.tx.us should an opinion you require be in
the "no documents found" category for an extended period of time. |
